Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of financial reporting and analysis for our investment companies, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements for each investment entity.
- Conduct variance analysis and provide insights into financial performance, highlighting key trends, risks, and opportunities to senior management.
- Collaborate with investment teams to assess the financial health of portfolio companies, analyze investment performance, and support decision-making processes.
- Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard assets, ensure data integrity, and mitigate financial risks within the investment portfolio.
- Provide financial guidance and support to investment teams on budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning to optimize investment returns.
- Stay current on web3 industry trends, accounting standards, and regulatory changes impacting the investment sector to ensure compliance and best practices.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; CPA or CFA certification preferred.
- Proven experience as a Financial Controller or similar role within the asset management industry
- In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and investment valuation methodologies.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data, identify trends, and provide strategic insights.
- Proficiency in financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Detail-oriented mindset with a high level of accuracy and integrity in financial reporting processes.
