Responsibilities:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records for investment entities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and adjustments.
Track and account for investment transactions, valuations, and related income/expenses.
Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards (e.g., IFRS, US GAAP) and regulatory requirements.
Assist in the preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements for subsidiaries.
Handle end-to-end accounting for smaller-sized entities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger management.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for smaller entities.
Identify opportunities to streamline accounting and reporting processes for greater efficiency.
Provide ad hoc financial analysis and reporting as required.
Requirements / Skill Sets:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Professional accounting qualification (e.g., CPA, ACCA) is preferred.
3-6 years of relevant experience in financial reporting, accounting, or audit, preferably with exposure to investment entities or financial services.
Strong knowledge of accounting standards (e.g., IFRS, US GAAP) and financial reporting requirements.
Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Excel skills.
Experience with full-set accounting and handling smaller entities is a plus.
Excellent attention to detail, analytical skills, and problem-solving abilities.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines.
