Responsibilities:
Liaise with external auditors for statutory audits, collate testing samples, and prepare accounting memos
Manage the full-set bookkeeping for up to 20 standalone entities across various jurisdictions (including Hong Kong, Middle East, United Kingdom, Korea, and Cayman Island etc.)
Handle daily accounting operations including monthly subsidiary funding and cost recharges
Ensure invoices are prepared correctly and accurately updated in the accounting system
Verify invoices and agreements to ensure the validity of supporting documents and proper authorization
Perform regular bank reconciliations to ensure all transactions are accurately recorded in the ledger
Manage Accounts Payable settled in cryptocurrency, ensuring crypto payments are properly recorded and reconciled with on-chain transactions
Perform ad hoc assignments, including but not limited to accounting standard interpretation and the development of accounting policies and procedures
Identify opportunities for process improvement and provide guidance or mentorship to junior team members
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, preferably with a mix of Big 4 audit and commercial accounting
QP candidate / CPA is a plus
Proficiency in modern ERP systems (e.g. Oracle, NetSuite, or Expensify)
Experience with the Microsoft Office suite of programs is essential
Excellent written and spoken English
Good time management and an organized approach to tasks
Excellent attention to detail
Ability to take ownership and responsibility for assigned tasks
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
A professional and positive attitude, remaining patient and calm under pressure
Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment
