Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Group Reporting Associate to join our finance team. As a Group Reporting Associate, you will play a vital role in ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting for our organization. You will collaborate closely with various stakeholders, including finance, accounting, and operations teams, to gather and analyze financial data, prepare reports, and assist in financial planning and analysis activities.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and analyse financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Conduct variance analysis to identify trends, highlight key financial metrics, and provide insights to support decision-making processes.
  • Assist in the coordination and consolidation of financial data across multiple business units and geographies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather financial information, ensuring accuracy and completeness of data.
  • Support financial planning and forecasting activities, including budget preparation and monitoring.
  • Assist in the preparation of investor presentations, management reports, and board materials.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and internal control procedures.
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial reporting.
  • Stay updated on emerging accounting and reporting standards, assess their impact on the company, and recommend appropriate actions.
  • Provide support during external audits and assist in addressing audit queries.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in financial reporting, accounting, or related roles.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
  • Proficient in financial analysis, data interpretation, and variance analysis.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial data analysis.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and financial reporting tools.
  • Familiarity with web3 technologies and blockchain industry (preferred).
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and meet tight deadlines.
  • Professional certifications such as CPA or ACCA (preferred).
Working visa sponsorship and relocation allowance will be provided for non-Hong Kong candidates.
